IPL -8 is now on. I find it very boring and a big joke on the sensibilities of an unsuspecting average person As it is , T-20 games are heavily loaded in favour of batsman . Fielding restrictions , shorter boundaries and what not . Players have to take chances so that the "thrill factor" is uppermost in the mind of viewers . What does it lead to ? Well it is the murder of the good Gentleman's game . On top of it , it is so difficult to cheer up a particular team because we can't associate ourselves with any team - all hotch potch combination of players .
If thrill factor is the only thing that we are looking for , well , there are so many simpler ways of getting a thrill in life . I suppose not many will endorse my views because if it was so , IPL would not have been such a cash rich venture.
